Our all-ages venue

The Stomach is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading all-ages music venue. Since 1988 we’ve been host to countless artists while maintaining our commitment to inclusivity. No one should be excluded from seeing the best local, national, and international artists because they’re under 18.

We regularly host gigs and every show features original local artists. If you want to book The Stomach as a destination on your tour or for a one-off show please contact us.

The Stomach provides a complete backline, FoH PA, stage monitoring, live sound engineer and live multitrack digital recording - Details below.

We typically work with promoters and artists on a ‘profit-sharing’ model. However, we’re happy to discuss venue hire arrangements. The venue is for-purpose and supported through public funding. Please note that all bookings are screened to ensure that they align with our purpose to support all-ages and affordable original music.
