How it works
Booking Info
The Stomach is an accessible community recording studio but that doesn’t mean we compromise on quality. The studio is available for bookings subject to demand and availability.
Our studio services include:
Recording
Editing
Mixing
Mastering
All studio bookings include one of our in-house recording engineers.
If you want to book time for your project with us we recommend that you inquire as soon as possible.
Studio Rates and Payment
all rates are per hour
Standard: $45.00
Student / unwaged: $25.00
Commercial / from out of town: $75.00
There are no additional hidden fees, we charge out everything including planning, setup, recording, editing mixing, revisions, mastering, file transfers, digitisation on a simple hourly rate.
Please ensure that you are prepared to pay at the conclusion of your session. Our preferred payment method is EFTPOS. Your recording files will be released to you once payment has been received in full.
Creative Sounds Society receives funding from the government to support our local musicians and activities. Locals are subsidised by this funding.
Our current funding arrangements cover musicians based in: Palmerston North, Manawatū, Tararua, Horowhenua, Rangitikei, Whanganui.
Please note that you may be charged a cancellation fee if you do not give sufficient notice of changes to bookings or do not attend your session.
