If more than half of your band/group/whatever has a job, you count as waged.
A $50 cancellation fee applies if client gives us less than 72 Hours notice or does not show.

Most recording situations require approximately one hour’s set up time, charged at normal studio rate.

Rehearsal Space

Yep, just $3 per hour, you gotta book a ways ahead 'cause it's also the recording space, but just bring your own sticks, picks and leads - if you don't have your own instruments we can sort you out...
Oh yeah, vocal PA and microphones also provided, along with friendly advice for the inexperienced!

Note: a cancellation fee of $10.00 applies (less than 24 hours notice or no show)

Venue Hire

The Stomach provides an all ages, drug, alcohol & smokefree venue.

We provide a certain number of gigs (eg. "5 Bands for 5 Bucks") off our own backs every year, for which bands and performers, particularly new ones, are welcome to book in a set.

If you wanna book your own gig/ performance/ show our friendly staff will be happy to help.
Touring groups are most welcome too; if you really wanna play a licensed venue we can point you in the right direction there.
We have a vocal PA available for general use, anything stronger is available for hire.

Room Hire Only $100 + 10% of door
Room and PA Hire $200 + 10% of door

Hirers of the practice room/recording studio/venue are responsible for any and all damages or theft during the hire.
Hirers are responsible for any and all actions of all people present during the hire.

Music Education

Creative Sounds can hook you up with drum, guitar and bass teachers at a reasonable rate. Friendly advice on all matters musical will also be dispensed for free!

In addition, we provide all kinds of workshops in everything from drumming to turntabling to womens' music to heavy metal riffing! Some of these are provided on a per demand basis: if enough interest is expressed we'll go to work on it. So if you're into it, let us know...
